JVC Projectors Get THX 3D Certified Print E-mail
Thursday, 11 November 2010
ImageLater this month, JVC will release the DLA-RS50, DLA-RS60, DLA-X7 and DLA-X9 projectors, all of which are capable of delivering 3D content in full 1080p.  They're also the first projectors to earn THX 3D certification.
The process is a tough one, and involves over 400 laboratory tests designed to measure color accuracy, cross-talk or ghosting, viewing angles and even video processing.  THX ensures that both 2D and 3D performance are up to snuff.

Thanks to the certification, the new JVC projectors come with THX Cinema Mode and THX 3D Cinema Mode presets that gives you the best possible picture right out of the box.  If you're not satisfied with that picture, fine tuning can be done by THX Professional Calibrators.

The DLA-RS60 and DLA-X9 will be available later this month at a price of $11,995 while the DLA-RS50 and DLA-X7 will run $7,995.
