XM Satellite Radio announced that CNN will join the XM News neighborhood on Monday, December 2nd, on channel 122, featuring Larry King Live, Lou Dobbs Moneyline, Crossfire, Connie Chung Tonight, Wolf Blitzer Reports and other well-known programs from AOL Time Warner's flagship cable news channel.

Amidst reports of a pending bankruptcy by Reuters, Sirius Satellite Radio, today announced that its service will be available in a range of rental cars from Hertz - the world's largest car rental company. The deal starts December 1, 2002 at major airport Hertz locations in California and Florida. Sirius specifically denied reports that they were going bankrupt in a second release sent today calling the Reuters report “misleading.”

XM Satellite Radio has just announced they are reshaping their 100-channel lineup, adding channels for neo-soul, books & drama, old-time radio dramas, folk music, easy listening and will be adding their first premium channel, Playboy Radio. The changes were made based on feedback from the estimated 137,000 XM subscribers. Some of the new channels that launch August 26, 2002 include:

Cadillac will become the first automotive brand to offer XM Satellite Radio on all its models in 2003. Cadillac will offer XM on the 2003 DeVille, Seville, CTS, and Escalade family of vehicles. In addition, Cadillac will include XM on the 2004 XLR luxury roadster and an all-new entry in the mid luxury utility segment, the Cadillac SRX.
