Recognizing the need to protect sensitive electronic systems from electrical surges transmitted through remote lines, Panamax is unveiling eight new signal line protection modules. These new modules are designed to work with and complement the PM8-EX, M4-EX, M8-EX and M8-Pro product lines. The new signal line protection modules are also compatible with legacy towerMAX products. The patent pending design of RGPC's new HighTension Wireallows more of the AC signal to pass-through, unrestricted than the high-end esoteric power cords RGPC has objectively evaluated using our revealing CRT testing procedures. HighTensionWire is designed to power all components. Many high-end cables are wrapped with pretty outer sleeves of various materials and webbing, such as heat-shrink tubing or rubber wrapped tightly around the core wire. RGPC have discovered that this can dramatically affect the performance of the wire, degrading the signal being transmitted. This condition, coupled with typically poor terminations, yields wire performance that deteriorates even further over time. RGPC’s HighTensionWire is terminated by hand, for the least signal loss, and uses a loose sleeve composed of a material that should not affect performance.

Richard Gray’s Power Company™ (RGPC) introduces the first 700va, audiophile build quality isolation transformer for the home theater and custom installation markets. Coined the Pole Pig™, it takes its name from the utility company transformer mounted high on poles in so many neighborhoods across America. Bars that crawl through the picture of a videodisplay, or an annoying hum that you just can’t seem to get rid of, are caused by incompatibilities between your components ground voltages, commonly referred to as ground loops. Like the SubStation, the Pole Pig is designed primarily as an isolation transformer to help eliminate these ground loops that plague home theater systems. The Pole Pig is designed to provide isolation from the neutral and hot legs of the AC line, and aids in RF-band noise removal as well.

PS Audio introduces the Power Plant P500 AC Power Generator, incorporating two proprietary technologies, Multiwave II and Autowave. Like all Power Plants, the P500 is designed to improve both the audio and video performance of a Home Theater system by generating pure AC line voltage, which is significantly cleaner than the AC voltage provided by standard wall outlets. The P500 Power Plant produces up to 500 watts of power to amplifiers, small projectors, LCD and plasma-based displays. Designed from the ground up, the P500 is small in size. Exclusive PS Audio technology enables it to produce instantaneous custom waveforms.
