When you're buying a car, sound may not be the first thing on your list, but if you're an audiophile then it should still be a concern.  After all, why should your listening experience suffer just because you're driving?  The BMW 6 coupe and convertible both come packed with a sound system created by Bang & Olufsen that utilizes 12 active loudspeakers and pumps out 1,000 watts of power.  This includes five tweeters, five mid-range speakers and a pair of subwoofers mounted under the front seats.

If you're living outside of the 50 US States and Canada, chances are you're pretty sick of people talking up the Netflix streaming service when you can't even access it.  It's like how we in the States feel about Spotify.  Good news is here for those living in Mexico, Central America, South America and the Carribbean - Netflix has announced that streaming video will be coming your way later this year.  You'll be able to access the site in Spanish, Portuguese or English depending on your preference and stream movies directly to your PC or a variety of other devices.

LG can say whatever it wants about people preferring passive technology and Sony and Panasonic can taut their Hollywood connections as much as they care to, but the folks at Samsung have one big statistic on their side that beats all of that talk. That statistic is a massive 61 percent share of the 3D TV market.  Three out of every five 3D plasmas and LCDs that get sold are Samsungs TVs - that gives the company some serious bragging rights.

This morning, I brought up Hulu.com as I read that linking your Facebook Connect account added a free month of Hulu Plus to my Hulu account.  I love Hulu Plus!  Why wouldn't I take them up on that deal?  It's an easy enough process, simply click the familiar Facebook Connect button.  However, when I clicked the button, something at Hulu went awry.

You can throw out all the fancy numbers you want, you can talk about halved resolutions and flicker and all the other things that make up a picture, but what matters in the end is how good something looks to the average viewer.  According to a new study organized by LG, passive sets are preferred by 80 percent of people. The study, which was carried out by research firm Morpace, matched up LG's 47LW5600 against a Sony KDL-46EX723 and a Samsung UN46D6420 and asked users to watch identical content on each set and select the one that they prefer over the others.
