Mitsubishi's new LaserVue, the L75-A91, is nothing short of impressive.  At 75 inches, it's significantly larger than the former 65 inch model, and it's got a great assortment of features.  The only real question is why Mitsubishi decided to use a nightmarish harlequin figure to promote the set.

The latest release from Tranquil really lives up to the company's name.  The ixL doesn't use fans for cooling, which means that not only is it more reliable, it's almost completely silent to boot.  It's also gorgeous.  The aluminum and steel case, subdued front panel and option for a laser-etched personalization make the Tranquil PC ixL a great addition to the home theater.

The release of LG's BX580 is timed quite nicely with the release of the first 3D Blu-ray.  And it makes sense, because the BX580 handles 3D right out of the box. The 580 doesn't redefine what a Blu-ray player is or offer features that no other player does, but it is a solid 3D-ready player.  It plays Blu-ray discs at 1080p/24 and upscales DVDs to 1080p.  On the audio side, it handles the usual assortment of HD audio formats.

3D televisions are still pretty new on the market, and there are a lot of unknowns when it comes to relatively new technologies.  Interference is one of them.  Sony's TVs use IR to communicate with the glasses, and signal interference is a legitimate concern.
