There are a lot of reasons to pick up a soundbar.  It’s not the optimal solution for your main TV, but on your secondary or tertiary set, there might not be a need to pick up a full 7.1 solution.  Just because you’re willing to use a soundbar, however, doesn’t mean you want to sacrifice audio quality.

It’s not hitting US shores just yet, but the world’s largest commercially available OLED is now shipping to UK customers.  Of course, where OLEDs are concerned, the world’s largest doesn’t really count for much.  The 15EL9500 is a slick looking display that measures a whopping, for OLED, 15 inches.

There’s no question about where Band & Olufson’s priorities lie.  They make televisions and home theater components, but it’s less about the quality of the product itself than the aesthetics of the product.  They tend to focus more on the artistic quality of the piece than the functionality.  The BeoLab 11 is no exception.

Samsung wants everyone to use its new 3D sets.  Well, almost everyone. According to the warnings listed on the company’s website, there are a substantial group of people who shouldn’t be watching 3D televisions.  For starters, Samsung says that pregnant women should stay away from 3D.  There’s no stated reason why, but the restriction is curious.
