Advancements in technology, no matter what the application, are incredibly cool to learn about.  When it's something that could be benefitting us in five or 10 years time, it's even cooler.  Sony's new blue-violet laser definitely qualifies.

It's easy to find a device that can play music from your home network at a price that anyone can afford.  It's a little harder though if you're looking for quality.  $100 streamers of dubious build and stream quality don't do it for everyone.

The SR7005 is the flagship of the new receiver line from Marantz.  It's designed to replace, and improve over the SR7002, and it does that with a series of new features.  The new receiver is all about sharing.  It can distribute audio from up to three different sources to three different zones simultaneously.

We all want the best when it comes to our home theater components, but sometimes practicality gets in the way.   Maybe you've got an AV rack in your main viewing room, but when it comes to more limited spaces, smaller components can really help out.
