Netflix Launches its First Original Series 'Lillyhammer'
Today is a very big day indeed for the folks over at Netflix.  The streaming service has launched its first original series and reviews thus far are glowing.  'Lillyhammer' stars Steven Van Zandt who you may recognize from 'The Sopranos' or as the guitarist for Bruce Springsteen.  It's  a sort of fish-out-of-water crime drama where a former gangster is sent to Norway under the witness protection program.

It features Razor LED lighting, upscales your Blu-rays for the 2560x1080 resolution and does the things you'd expect from a Smart TV, like streaming movies and music.

Sony Will Update Google TV Player With 3D Blu-ray Playback
When it first launched, Google TV was a mess. It didn’t work as well as it should have and sales were incredibly weak. Things are starting to turn around though, thanks to a series of updates to the platform. The latest update brings a bit of functionality to all of Sony’s Google TV products, but the big change comes to the Google TV Blu-ray player.
