The folks at Panasonic will be adding new voice control tech to their 2013 TV lineup. Though the company has given customers options like this before, this is the first time Panasonic will be using the specific Dragon TV tech from Nuance.

Using this option, you’ll be able to eschew your remote for even basic functions like channel changing, volume adjustment and content searches. You can even arrange for the TV to speak your menu options out loud so you won’t even have to look at your TV while making adjustments. Not the most necessary of features, but it’s nice to know it’s there.
