The last update to Netflix streaming allowed many more people to access HD streams, but users also found that it brought down the overall quality of HD streaming, making the picture softer and less defined.  Netflix has responded by creating a new tier that they're calling Super HD.  It doesn't take you past 1080p, but it does offer better video and audio for those that have nice fast internet connections.  That's not the only requirement though – the improved HD is only available to a very limited number of people.

Currently, if you live in the US you have to subscribe to Cablevision or Google Fiber in order to access the Super HD streams.  If you're streaming on PC, you'll also need Windows 8.  Netflix had far less information available concerning their 3D movies, but it appears that the same limitations will apply.
