SVS Introduces its First Sub-$500 Subwoofers - AVRev.com

The folks at SVS have introduced a pair of new subs that may not blow your mind with their feature set, but will certainly impress with their low price point. At $499 each, the SB-1000 and PB-1000 both sport solid specs for the cost.

Both subs incorporate an SVS Sledge STA-300D amplifier, rated at 300 watts. The SB-1000 offers a 12 inch driver and a response of 24Hz to 260Hz, while the PB-1000 uses a 10 inch driver and a 3.5 inch high-flow port. That gives the PB-1000 a response of 19Hz to 270Hz. Both subs are available now at a price of $499.
