Ultra High Definition televisions are quickly on the way and the folks at Hisense are jumping on board with their own offerings.  There's nothing that truly sets the Hisense TVs apart from competitors in terms of feature set, but there are two considerations that may make Hisense a player worth keeping an eye on in the upcoming struggle for UHDTV dominance.

The first is size.  Unlike competitors, Hisense is going to be launching sets at sizes more normally associated with living room TV watching.  No 80 inch sets here.  The second is price.  Hisense is all about making inexpensive sets, and 4K TVs are the exact opposite.  If they can come in even $1,000 cheaper than the next highest option, the company may find a foothold.
