If you're looking for a 3D projector that lets you get in depth with your adjustments, the PT-AE8000U will be right up your alley. Not only does it offer 3D features previously only available in 2D – keystone correction, lens memory, powered zoom – but it provides an impressive amount of customization to boot. Using 3D Picture Balance, for example, you can adjust color, brightness and contrast for each eye individually, rather than adjusting for the whole picture at once.
The PT-AE8000U offers up 20 percent more brightness than the previous model, which should result in a more comfortable experience. It also boasts a dynamic contrast ratio of 500,000:1. It comes packed with a 2x zoom lens and can give you a 120 inch image from as close as 11.8 feet and as far as 23.6 feet. You'll be able to find it later this month at a price of around $3,500. |
