NBC Announces 242 Hours of 3D Olympic Coverage – Every Event Streaming Online

2012 is a big year for fans of the Olympics, especially if you're into sports that don't usually get a ton of coverage. NBC has announced that NBCOlympics.com will stream every event. Every single one of them, no matter how oddball. That gives you 3,500 hours, or around 150 days worth of Olympic events.

If you're looking to enjoy some of the bigger sports in 3D, you're in luck. There will be 242 hours of 3D Olympic coverage. NBC says that this will be available to "all U.S. distributors who carry Olympic coverage on cable, satellite and telcom," which means pretty much everybody. The coverage will include, as you might expect, both the opening and closing ceremonies.
