NAD has introduced a pair of integrated amps that pack something new – a 24/96 DAC for USB. The added DAC aims to liven up your compressed audio and give you the best listening experience possible with your digital files. Of course, there's more to the new C 375DAC and C 356DAC than just a USB DAC. Both amplifiers pack 24-192 DACs for traditional audio and allow you to add a phono component thanks to their modular design, though the C 375DAC requires an external add-on rather than internal. Both also offer 12-volt triggers and RS-232 ports so you can set them up to play nice with your custom system. The C 375DAC comes in at $1,600 while the C 356DAC will run you $900. |
