The folks over at Logitech, together with Wakefield Research, have conducted a survey that's yielded some very interesting results.  They'll be releasing more on the Logitech blog as the month goes in - much of it focused on the way people interact with their TV remotes - but the first findings are fascinating.

For starters, 53% of the people interviewed say that a living room without a TV is worse than a living room without a couch. You could always get a Lay-Z-Boy in there, but it's surprising to note that so many people would prefer having entertainment available as opposed to somewhere to sit.  It may not be as shocking, but 95% of the people interviewed are doing at least three other things while watching TV.  Smartphones make this pretty easy of course.
