The first model in Sim2's Nero series is the Nero 3D-2, and it's available now. The Nero 3D-s is a fantastic looking projector, but it's what's under the hood that really counts. The Nero 3D-2 packs Sim2 standards like the optical light engine as well as newer technologies like Pure Movie and Pure Motion for a superior picture. If you're looking for 3D, the 3D-2 can deliver, but you'll need to pick up an emitter and glasses - sold separately.
You get the choice of three different lenses when picking up the Nero 3D-2. The projector with a short-throw T1 lens comes in at $24,900, which is the same price as for the long-throw T2 lens. The T3 is a long -throw lens with a 2.60-3.90:1 ratio as compared to the 1.82-2.48:1 of the T2. The projector packaged with the T3 will run you $26, 750. Sim2 will be releasing a few more of their Nero projectors in the coming months, including the Nero 235, which gives you a native 2.35:1 theatrical aspect ratio. |
