The Sonos music system is a very cool way to get whole home audio without having to deal with wires and installation.  It's also pretty convenient in terms of giving you access to all of your digital music wherever you want it.  Best of all, for those on a tighter budget anyway, it's nice and cheap to delve into. The Play:3 is the latest from Sonos and it comes in at just $299.  It boasts three drivers - two mids and a tweeter - each of which boasts a dedicated Class-D amplifiers.  It's got a passive bass radiator that fires from the back as well so you don't miss out on those lows.

All you need to set up the Play:3 is a $49 Sonos bridge and an appropriate controller like an iPhone, Android phone or the Sonos Controller which is sold separately.  You'll be able to stream music from your PC, Mac, or storage device as well as online sources like Pandora, Spotify and internet radio stations.
