The new SR5006 and SR6006 from Marantz have been designed to replace the SR7005 flagship from last year.  Both include Ethernet ports that allow you to stream internet radio stations, but more exciting for Apple device owners is the inclusion of AirPlay, which makes pulling audio from an iPhone, iPad or iPod simple.

The SR6006 is the higher end of the two receivers.  It offers 110 watts of power to its 7.1 channels and boasts seven HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs that work simultaneously.  It's packed with features like Audyssey Dynamic Volume for even sound, MultEQ XT for simple set up and the Marantz Dynamic Expander which helps to restore life to compressed audio files.

While the SR5006 still offers 7.1 channel audio, it drops the wattage to 100 per channel.  It includes six HDMI inputs, but a single HDMI output.  It comes packed with much of the same tech that's in the 6006, including Audyssey features.  Both receivers will be available from mid July and at a price of $1,199 for the SR6006 and $799 for the SR5006.
