Jurassic Park is Finally Coming to Blu-ray
As great a format as Blu-ray is, it can still be difficult to get people on board when their favorite films have yet to be released.  Among those hotly anticipated films, more than a few of them come from director Steven Spielberg. Thankfully, the wait will soon be over for those craving his 1993 masterpiece 'Jurassic Park.'  The original film and its two sequels will be hitting Blu-ray on October 25, 2011.  The films have, of course, been completely remastered and you'll be able to enjoy 7.1 channel surround sound.

From the look of things, you'll be getting all the special features that came with the DVDs and more.  New for Blu-ray is a six part documentary titled 'Return to Jurassic Park.'  This features new interviews with the filmmakers, Steven Spielberg and the cast. The trilogy will be available in a standard three-pack or in a limited edition collection that includes a T-Rex statue.  Pricing is not yet available.
