These aren't for the casual listener.  If you only dust off an old LP every once in a while, then you'll want to look elsewhere.  Bergmann makes turntables for those who want nothing but the best from their records.

The Magne is the first of two turntables just revealed by Bergmann.  It's powered by Airbearing technology that allows for smooth and nearly silent operation.  It includes an Airbending tonearm, an external power supply and a heavy clamp to stabilize your records.  It's absolutely stunning in its minimalism and it provides a friction-free experience at a price of $12,000.

For those that want more, Bergmann has introduced the Sleipner.  Like the Magne, it utilizes Airbearing technology throughout, but it adds a digitally controlled air supply, a vacuum clamp for record stabilization, and a plinth made for optimal resonance control.  You can pick it up now from Aaudio Imports at a price of $48,000.
