Runco is a name well respected in the projector field, but they're not exactly the most diverse company. They make high-end projectors for dedicated home theaters and tend not to bother with anything else - until now.
The new LS-HB takes Runco into a whole new category. This single-chip high brightness projector is designed to work outside of the dedicated room and is made to fit less than optimal lighting conditions. Runco's LS-HB pumps out 2,700 lumens in high-brightness mode so you won't have to worry as much about ambient light. "With the LS-HB, we are able to provide our customers with a solution that they may have believed impossible: a vivid, big-screen entertainment experience in their living room," says Runco VP Jennifer Davis. "The new LS-HB projector joins our stand-out line-up of LightStyle platforms to create real possibilities for front projection in spaces where the only solution previously available might have been a large flat panel television." The LightStyle LS-HB will be available in February of this year at a price of $7,995. You can pick it up with the CineGlide lens solution as well, for a price of $15,995. |
