Two fantastic looking movies hit the theaters this week, though one is a limited release.  There's another though, that seems absolutely dreadful.

The Way Back

Let's start with one of the good ones.  'The Way Back' is directed by Peter Weir, who was responsible for 'Master and Commander,' 'Dead Poets Society,' and 'The Truman Show.'  It stars Ed Harris and Colin Farell as well as lesser known actors like Jim Sturgess and Mark Strong.  A survival epic set against an incredibly authentic backdrop, 'The Way Back' is one not to miss.

No Strings Attached

Even on paper this movie doesn't look good.  It's directed by the very hit-or-miss Ivan Reitman and stars the duo of Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman.  Critics are split towards the negative on this one, calling out the mismatched cast as the primary problem.

The Company Men (limited)

Affleck is back and he doesn't disappoint in 'The Company Men,' a movie about how Affleck's character and a few of his co-workers - played by Chris Cooper, and Tommy Lee Jones - deal with life after downsizing.  It's a truthful telling of the tale, and one that's well worth watching.

Also Coming Out This Week:

Mumbai Diaries(limited)

Johnny Mad Dog(limited)
Applause(limited)

The Woodmans (limited)
