We've seen plenty of design conscious 3D glasses come out in the last few months, but they've all been of the passive variety.  They're the kind you can use in a movie theater, but probably won't get much use from at home.   Samsung's glasses are different.

Instead of making stylish passive-tech glasses, Samsung commissioned a company called Silhouette to create some designer 3D glasses for those with sets that require active technology.  The glasses are slick looking, if a bit odd, but comfort is the key factor here.

That's not to say there isn't anything else new in Samsung's specs.  They boast wireless charging capabilities which could add a lot to the convenience factor - something that's missing in 3D - and that the glasses will automatically detect 3D content and turn themselves on and off accordingly.
