Resident Evil: Afterlife

The latest in the 'Resident Evil' series is being released in both standard and 3D Blu-ray this week, and while it isn't the best movie, it's not without some redeeming qualities.  There are some interesting fight scenes to be sure, and the character of Wesker is hard not to love for his wonderfully cheesy villany.

The American

Reviewers either loved or hated 'The American,' an espionage thriller that's low on action and high on drama.  It's a great looking film with fine direction and more of an artsy feel than you'd normally expect from a movie of this type.
