One of the most frustrating things about 3D televisions is that they're something you want to show off to your friends and family.  It might not seem bad initially, but think about how many pairs of $150 glasses you'll have to buy if everyone wants to watch at the same time.  At that price, glasses can cost more than your TV once the numbers get high.

Vizio's latest TV is the solution to this problem.  It's a 65 inch edge-lit LED set that uses the same 3D technology found in movie theaters.  That means you won't have to worry about those expensive battery operated glasses.  You can use the same ultra-inexpensive ones found in theaters.

Vizio says their TV will also help prevent the eye-strain typically associated with active shutter glasses, as well as the issue of a picture that's too dim.

Along with the set, which can be had for $3,500 at Costco and Sam's Club, you'll get four pairs of glasses, two of which are designed especially for those that wear prescription glasses.
