Some people absolutely love 'Avatar.'  It's a record breaking film and the first one to really push 3D technology to its limits, so as you can imagine, the 3D release has been hotly anticipated.  No one had any idea just how anticipated it was.

The 'Avatar' 3D Blu-ray is now available exclusively through Panasonic.  If you buy a new 3D TV, you get your free 3D Blu-ray.  If you don't buy a Panasonic TV, you can't get it – unless you're willing to go through eBay.

Copies of the disc are up now and selling for prices as high as $350.  That's not just an asking price either, the 'Avatar' 3D Blu-rays are being bid up.  It's a lot to pay, but if you really want 'Avatar' for your slick 3D setup this holiday season, it's one of the only ways you can get it.

For those hoping to justify the purchase of a new Panasonic 3D TV, consider this a pseudo mail-in rebate.  Sure, you'll have to give up the privilege of owning 'Avatar' for a few months, but $350 is $350.
