Just a few weeks ago, DISH announced the Sling Adapter, which allows you to watch anything from your DISH DVR – live programming and recorded shows alike – on your iPhone, Android device, Blackberry or computer.  There was only one thing missing – the iPad.

Thankfully, a new update for Apple's tablet device means compatibility is no longer a problem.  If you've got an iPad and the Dish Sling Adapter, you can use it to browse your recorded programs, set up new recordings, check the live schedule and – most importantly – watch all the content you want.

"Unlike mobile viewing from cable and telcos that limit access to select programs," says Ira Bahr of DISH Network, "our TV Everywhere services give consumers 24 x 7 access to all of their live and recorded content included with their DISH Network programming subscription."

As with the other devices, you'll need a ViP 722 or 722k HD DVR and the $99 Sling Adapter to make it all work.

I have an iPad and I just wanted to provide a little insight on my experience on
it. I hadn't had any issues with it and I do work at DISH so I was anticipating
the arrival of it in the app store. It works flawlessly for me and I would
highly recommend that people try it out. It's well worth every penny that I
spent on it!
