There's little more exciting than the thought of getting to ditch those glasses – active or passive – to enjoy some glasses-free 3D.  We know the tech is on the way in Nintendo's 3DS and a few smartphones, but the company GRilli3D says it's possible on existing products too.

All you need to do is pick up a GRilli3D film and attach it to your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad.  It sticks on just like a traditional screen protector, but instead of just stopping your screen from being scratched, your GRilli3D screen will enable glasses-free 3D.

There isn't much content available yet – just a few demo pictures and animations – but the folks at GRilli3D say that they're working on getting some partners on board.

It's an interesting product to be sure, and it's priced to move.  GRilli3D will run you $29.99 for the iPad and $14.99 for the iPhone and iPod touch.
