The folks at Olive have been understandably excited about their new O6HD music server, and have been leaking details about it little by little, teasing us with the exciting new developments.  Today they've finally lifted the veil and we've got the whole scoop.

The O6HD is an impressive new 2TB music server designed to satisfy even the most demanding audiophile.  It features a fully balanced differential DAC and a matched pair of Burr-Brown PCM1792 DAC modules.

Olive's new server utilizes a TI SRC4194 to up-sample your lower quality audio files like MP3s up to 24-bit/384 kHz to guarantee a maximum in detail.  It also boasts an ultra-low jitter master clock that helps to eliminate jitter and edginess issues found in digital media players.

Background noise is all but eliminated, as the 06HD rests in an aluminum enclosure designed to eliminate operational noise and the internal components offer an impressive signal to noise ratio of 124dB.

The server also packs a high-end output stage for warm and open sound, a high-precision linear power supply and a dedicated DAC made specifically for headphone use.

You can get an Olive O6HD server of your own for $4,999 directly from Olive.  Click here to check out the O3HD
