CD players are becoming less common for the average consumer, but demanding audiophiles are still in the market for a player that can provide the best quality possible.
Cary's CD-500 is designed to play back CDs in a way that only the most demanding listeners can truly appreciate. It boasts Burr Brown 1792u DAC chips in a full differential-balanced configuration as well as ELNA capacitors, just like Cary's SACD Pro players. It can upsample standard CDs at 96, 192, 384, 512 or 768 kHz to get the very best sound from every disc you own. It's also integration friendly, and offers discrete RS-232 and IR command codes. The CD-500 is shipping now at $2,995 with either a black or silver faceplate. |
