This just might be one of those weeks to stay home.  You might even want to consider taking the next two weeks away from the theater, or taking the time to catch up on films you might have missed.

Megamind

This one's been getting some mixed reviews.  Some critics like it, others hate it, but no one really loves 'Megamind.'  It's got talented actors like Brad Pitt and brilliant comedians like David Cross, but it just doesn't seem to work.  In the end, it feels like something that's been done before and done better.

Due Date

It seems like a winning formula.  Take one part off kilter comedian (Zach Galifinakis) and one part bad boy actor (Robert Downey Jr.) and put them together for the comedy hit of the season.  Sadly, 'Due Date' doesn't seem to work out so well.  It's not terrible by any means, but if you're expecting excellence, this isn't it.

127 Hours (limited)

The always spot-on Danny Boyle, who directed 'Slumdog Millionaire,' 'Trainspotting,' and '28 Days Later' among others, takes on the true story of a man who finds himself trapped under a boulder while climbing a mountain.  It stars James Franco and sounds to be an Oscar contender.  If it's showing near you, this is the one to see this weekend.

Also Coming Out:

For Colored Girls
Fair Game (limited)

Four Lions (limited)

Client 9: The Rise and Fall of Eliot Spitzer (limited)

Red Hill (limited
)
Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench (limited)
