Yamaha's first universal Blu-ray player is an impressive entry from the company.  It boasts a robust feature set, quality components and 3D playback all in one slick looking package.

The BD-A1000 offers you the ability to do more than just play back discs.  It's packed with internet streaming services like Netflix, Blockbuster On Demand and YouTube, and includes dual USB inputs that allow you to play back digital media.

It decodes the latest in HD audio formats and sports a 7.1 channel analog output four 2-channel DACs, and can play back 1080p/24Hz video with ease.  It's ready for integration too, with Control4 certification and the inclusion of RC-232C control.

"The new Yamaha AVENTAGE BD-A1000 highly enhances the visual and audio experience," says Yamaha president Tom Sumner, "and is the ideal match for Yamaha’s AVENTAGE series of AV receivers."

You can pick up the Yamaha BD-A1000 for $699.
