It's a good week for horror fans, assuming you like movies that have been sequelized a few more times than necessary.  Still, the latest installment of 'Saw' should help you meet your blood and gore quota by the 31st.

Saw 3D

What can be said about the 'Saw' Series that hasn't already been said?  'Saw 3D' is the latest installment in the franchise and includes Tobin Bell, whose character has been dead for the last three movies, and Cary Elwes who's reprising his role from the first.  It's also got Sean Patrick Flanery, though it's too soon to tell whether that's a good thing or not.

You won't find any surprises in the plot or execution of said plot.  It's a 'Saw' movie, and aside from the first, they're all pretty much the same.  But that's nice in some ways – a bit of a Halloween tradition.  'Saw 3D' is in 3D as you might expect, but it's not a conversion job like so many others.  'Saw 3D' was filmed in 3D from the get-go.

The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest (limited)

It's the third and final piece of the Millenium trilogy that started with 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.'  'Hornet's Nest' also marks the last Swedish film.  We'll be seeing a US version helmed by David Fincher coming out next year.

Also Coming Out This Week:

Wild Target (limited)
Monsters (limited)

Inspector Bellamy (limited)

Amer (limited)
Waste Land (limited)
