There's a frustrating problem with 3D glasses that you may or may not have run into.  Though almost every in-home 3D solution available uses active shutter glasses, those glasses aren't compatible from set to set.  That means if you upgrade, or go over to a friend's house, you'll have to worry about whether your glasses will work or not.

The folks over at Xpand came up with a solution that makes things nice and easy.  The company's new Universal 3D Glasses work with every single active television on the market.  They don't work with passive tech, but since – with the exception of TRON themed 3D glasses – passive 3D glasses are incredibly inexpensive, it's not as big of an issue.

Xpand's glasses have an ultra-fast shutter which helps eliminate 3D side-effects like headaches and boast a high transmission ratio for the brightest images possible.  You can pick them up on Amazon now for a price of $106.67, marked down from the retail price of $129.
