Some folks don't exactly get the whole headphone thing.  They use $10 earbuds or – worse yet – the headphones that come free with their iPods.  Others opt for a more expensive noise-cancelling headset that focuses on keeping outside noises out, rather than providing the best audio quality.  The Edition 10 is not for them.

Ultrasone's new headphones are nothing short of impressive, in both style and functionality.  They've got a woodgrain, chrome and leather look that's just as well suited for the interior of a luxury car as it is a pair of headphones.

Years of research and development went into the Edition 10 phones which resulted in significant changes to the earcups, which took influence from nature.  The Edition 10 sports Titanium-plated 40mm drivers that are tuned specifically for open back headphones and thanks to S-Logic Plus tech, you won't have to worry about your ears hurting after hours of use.

Ultrasone says their new headphones will be available soon at a price of $2,749.
