Logitech delivered as promised yesterday and gave us full details on their upcoming Google TV box the Revue.  It's an impressive setup and may offer some stiff competition for devices like the Boxee Box and Apple TV .

There aren't a lot of surprises in the capabilities of the Revue.  It does everything we expected it to, including browsing the web with Flash support, bringing internet content to your TV and playing back a variety of digital media files.

If you've got a compatible DVR, things improve further since the Revue can search for and playback recorded shows and movies on your DVR without a need to switch inputs or fiddle around with menus.

It's fantastic that the Revue comes equipped with a controller that will actually work for the content.  The Logitech Keyboard Controller is just what it sounds like – a wireless keyboard with a trackpad that makes searching much simpler.

All that can be had for $299 when the Logitech Revue launches this October.  You can grab a smaller smart-phone like controller for $129, a camera for video calling for $149, or a remote control app for iPhone and Android devices absolutely free.
