Remember the launch of Flo TV earlier this year?  A handheld device that allows people to watch both live and on-demand television programs on the go seems like a great setup, but there were plenty of problems, like the added subscription, need to carry an extra device, and the advance of TV watching on smart phones.

The other big problem is that one of the most valuable things that Qualcomm owns is the piece of the wireless spectrum that Flo TV was using.  According to the company, it's valued at around two billion dollars, which Flo TV wasn't coming anywhere close to generating.

The Flo TV store has been shut down and we'll likely see devices pulled from retail shortly.  The folks at Qualcomm say that they're looking for a way to reimburse current Flo TV customers, but hasn't laid down any official plans as of yet.
