Are you using a 720p projector?  Don't feel bad, 720p is a fine resolution, and it's on par with most television shows and videogames.  Sure, you could do better, but a 720p resolution is still HD and you can still enjoy all of your HD content.  Unless you're hoping to go 3D that is.

You may have noticed a bit of an issue with the whole 3D movement.  It's all about 1080p resolutions, leaving 720p projector users in the lurch.  Luckily, Optoma is around to take care of that issue for you.

Using their new 3D-XL converter box, you'll be able to watch 3D Blu-rays on your 720p projector with no problem at all.  The box takes the HDMI 1.4 signal from your Blu-ray player and converts it to a 720p HDMI 1.3 signal.

You'll still need a projector that's capable of 120Hz of course, and the glasses and other accessories to go with it.  What you won't need though, is a whole new projector.
