D-ILA projectors have historically been only for those willing to shell out a good chunk of cash, but JVC is bringing the technology to the masses with a new projector, known as the DLA-HD250 in consumer circles and the DLA-HD250Pro to professionals.
"JVC projectors have been widely acclaimed for their performance, but they’ve remained out of reach for home theater enthusiasts with a limited budget," explains JVC's Gary Klasmeier. "With this new projector we bring D-ILA’s remarkable film-like image quality and impressive native contrast to an entirely new market segment." The DLA-HD250 sports a contrast ratio of 25,000:1, a brightness of 1,000 ANSI lumens and HQV Reon-VX video processing. The most exciting feature to some buyers though, will be the price tag. You'll be able to pick up the DLA-HD250 for $2,995 when it launches later this month. |
