Projectiondesign's got four new projectors coming out, so let's cut to the chase.  It all starts with the Avielo Helios Studio Edition, a 3-chip projector designed to be the final word in HD projection.  It's made by hand and exceeds RED 709 and DCI color standards, making it a part of a very exclusive club.

The Avielo Optix 3D is, as you can probably guess, a 3D projector based on the Optix HD projector.  It's based on the Linux platform, and uses 12-bit processing per channel to generate 3D images based on a single HDMI output.  It's got a recommended image size of up to 400cm wide.

Projectiondesign's Avielo Radiance is an interesting one that separates the lamp from the projector itself.  Thanks to Liquid Light Guide technology, you can keep the lamp – and therefore the fan – in a separate room, up to 100 feet away.

Perhaps the most exciting is the Avielo Optix SuperWide 235 – the first projector to boast a native aspect ratio of 2.35:1.  There's no need to pick up an anamorphic lens, and you won't lose any picture quality since the projector features a 2538 x 1080 resolution.
