It won't help with your speaker system's bass response, it won't give you a better picture and it won't stream movies to your TV, but the right seating can make a big difference in the overall quality of your home theater.

Salamander knows that, and is adding a big change to their home theater seats – memory foam.  All premium seating from Salamander will now come equipped with a layer of memory foam, similar to that used in Tempur-pedic mattresses, instead of the traditional polyurethane foam.

In addition to being more comfortable, supportive and long lasting, the memory foam has an ecological benefit as well.  Since it's a soybean based foam, there's less petroleum being used in production.  "We are committed to making business decisions that are globally responsible and environmentally friendly," explains Salamander president Salvatore Carraba.  "As alternatives present themselves, we make every effort to take advantage of Green opportunities in all aspects of our business."

The entire collection of premium seating from Salamander, including the Alex, Talia and Matteo lines, is getting the upgrade.  As usual, you'll be free to customize your seats in a variety of colors and cover materials.
