Some companies expect you to get excited when they throw in a single Blu-ray disc with their gear, while others go a step further by adding some 3D glasses.  Panasonic's new deal beats them all.

If you buy a VT25 or GT25 between now and October you'll be getting two pairs of 3D glasses, 3D versions of 'Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs,' and 'Coraline,' and a BDT100 3D Blu-ray player.  That's right, a Blu-ray player.

It's one hell of a deal – that's around $600 worth of pack-in goodies – and it really shows just how badly companies want to be the leader in the 3D game.  There's no word yet on how other companies that are pushing 3D like Sony and Samsung will follow this.

The deal is set to run until the end of October, but you can bet the folks at Panasonic will extend it through the holidays if sales numbers warrant it.
