THX certification carries some weight when it comes to video and audio, but it may be even more important in the nascent 3D television marketplace.  Not only does the certification test for color accuracy and viewing angles, it tests for the dreaded crosstalk as well.

The latest plasma released by LG is also the first to earn THX 3D certification – a fact that LG is understandably proud of.  The PX950 sports wide viewing angles, deep blacks, rich colors, and everything else you'd expect from a display worth bragging about.

It's also packed with features like NetCast access, which allows you to view content from Netflix, Vudu, and YouTube, or just check out the news and weather with Yahoo! Widgets.  Of course, there's also 2D to 3D conversion so you won't have to wait around for 3D Blu-rays to finally come out. You can pick up the PX950 now in a 50 inch size for $1,999 or 60 inches for $2,999.
