The popular kiosk based rental service Redbox has been experimenting with Blu-ray rentals for a while now, and there's been talk of expansion for the last year, but now it's official.  Every single Redbox kiosk will be stocked with Blu-ray discs by this fall.

"Offering Blu-ray rentals is an exciting opportunity for redbox to expand our product offerings and build on the relationships that we've established with millions of consumers nationwide," says Redbox president Mitch Lowe.  "We're delighted to offer consumers their favorite movies on the increasingly popular Blu-ray Disc format."

Adding Blu-ray discs to already full kiosks means there may be a bigger limit on selection, and there's no word yet on just how much of each kiosk will be Blu-ray.  The first week's 13,300 kiosk Blu-ray rollout will include 'The Book of Eli,' 'Green Zone' and 'Brooklyn's Finest.'
