The SR7005 is the flagship of the new receiver line from Marantz.  It's designed to replace, and improve over the SR7002, and it does that with a series of new features.  The new receiver is all about sharing.  It can distribute audio from up to three different sources to three different zones simultaneously.

It's DNLA 1.5 compliant, which means grabbing media from your PC is nice and easy, and it can even pull music right from your iPod thanks to a USB port on the front. In addition to the sharing solutions and multi-zone capabilities, the 7005 can grab online content too.  You can jump onto Pandora, check out photos from Flickr, or stream audio from one of over 14,000 internet radio stations.

The SR7005 is a seven channel receiver that sends 125 watts to each channel at eight ohms.  It's got six HDMI 1.4 ins for full 3D compatibility and it's compatible with 3rd party control solutions from Crestron, AMX, Control4 and others.   You'll be able to pick up the SR7005 receiver for yourself in August for a price of $1,599.
