In-wall speakers range in looks from the entirely visible to the nearly invisible, but the LW1218 from Live-Wall can be made absolutely undetectable. Once it's properly installed, you'll only know it's there by listening.
The LW1218 can either be used for new installations or retrofit into drywall without too much trouble. Either way, once you're done, you can mud, paint or even wallpaper right over it. It's water resistant too, which means showers and steam rooms can get the benefit of the LW1218. Live-Wall's new speaker uses a two inch voice coil driven by an oversized neodymium motor. The woven fiberglass diaphragm comes in direct contact with whatever it is you choose to cover the speaker with. You're looking at a frequency response from 54Hz on up to 20kHz. You can get the LW1218 for a price of $750, while the backbox runs $300. |
