The CAD 120S is a solid amplifier, but no matter how good an amp gets, there's always room for improvement.  Cary Audio Design agrees with that sentiment, which is why they've created the CAD 120S MKII. According to Cary, you'll get wider soundstages, greater depth, finer detail and increased dynamics thanks to the new circuitry.

The MKII introduces a new feedback network that reduces the overall feedback of the amplifier.  There's also been a bit of a change to the gain stage, which results in higher output levels overall.  But the new gain stage serves another purpose – it makes the CAD 120S MKII compatible with a wider range of preamplifiers.

You can pick up the CAD 120S MKII now with an anodized aluminum front panel or in Jaguar Anthracite black with a clear coat.  Retail pricing on this 65 pound amplifier is $5,500.
