The folks at projectiondesign made an incredibly pixel dense projector in the F35. It's got an impressive 2,560 x 1,600 resolution, which puts it at just about twice the pixel count of Full HD and far more than the often used WUXGA resolution.
The F35 sports a motorized zoom, focus, shift and iris as well as a mechanical shutter. It sports a pair of 300w lamps that create a brightness of over 6,500 lumens and last for as much as 5,000 hours when using the eco relay mode. It's got an 8,000:1 contrast and is capable of displaying a wide array of colors thanks to 36-bit RGB processing. It's got plenty of inputs too. You'll have a pair of Dual-Link DVI ports and a pair of HDMI ins when using a computer as a source, and a separate pair of HDMI ins for standard video inputs. It's also got the ability to be controlled via TCP/IP, RS-232C, and IR. You'll see the F35 become available sometime this fall. Pricing has not yet been announced. |
