One thing that's keeping people from giving up their cable boxes and sticking solely with download and streaming services is that a lot of good content is still largely unavailable.  For game consoles, that goes double.

Both the Xbox 360 and PS3's video services have been lacking, though the addition of Netflix to both systems and the Zune Marketplace to the Xbox 360 has helped.  More and more people are making the switch to game console based entertainment.

PlayStation owners are the first to get access to HBO's library of shows.  Most shows can be downloaded for under a dollar, but premium titles go for as much as $2.99.  Every Tuesday there will be an update to the shows being offered.  The big downside is that, for now, you can only get the shows in standard definition, and there's no word as to when HD episodes will be available.
